ROATAN — A full day of games, music, and community spirit is set for Sunday, October 12, 2025, as residents and visitors come together to support ROAR (Roatan Operation Animal Rescue). The fundraising event will feature disc golf and corn hole tournaments, along with live entertainment, raffles, and food.
The day begins with Disc Golf at RDG Hole #1, located on the road to the old Boat Bar between West End and West Bay. Registration opens at 10:00 a.m., with the two-man scramble starting at 11:00 a.m. In the afternoon, the action moves to Tita’s Pink Seahorse in West End for the Corn Hole Tournament. Registration starts at 1:00 p.m., followed by a random draw and competition beginning at 2:00 p.m. Both tournaments have an entry fee of $10 per player, per event, with prizes awarded to first and second place winners.
Beyond the games, attendees can enjoy live music from 1:00 p.m., alongside a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and plenty of food and drinks. Organizers say the event offers something for everyone — from seasoned competitors to those simply looking to try a new game, relax with friends, and enjoy island vibes — all while contributing to the ongoing work of Roatán’s local animal shelter.
