ROATAN — The Kimpton Grand Roatan Caribbean Resort has announced a packed schedule of events to celebrate Feriado Morazanico 2025, offering guests and visitors a mix of wellness, family-friendly activities, live music, and signature dining experiences. The holiday week, running from Monday, September 29, through Sunday, October 5, will transform the resort into a hub of culture, flavor, and entertainment on the island.

Monday, September 29 – Scuba for Beginners
The festivities begin on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. with the popular “Try Scuba” activity. Guests will be guided by expert instructors through the basics of scuba diving in the comfort of the resort’s pool. Designed for beginners, the session requires no prior experience and is open to all, with no reservations needed.
Tuesday, September 30 – Tacos & Tequila Tuesdays
On Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., the spotlight shifts to Seacat for Tacos & Tequila Tuesdays. Guests and the public can enjoy taco specials paired with margaritas and palomas, all while enjoying live Latin music by Angela Rosa. The event requires no reservations and is open to everyone.
Wednesday, October 1 – Wellness Midweek
The week continues with wellness programming on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., when the Orquidea Ballroom will host a Hatha Yoga session. The class emphasizes connecting movement with breath to improve balance and self-awareness. No reservations are required.
Thursday, October 2 – Family, Flavor, and Island Vibes
Thursday offers a mix of family fun and nightlife. The day begins with Family-Friendly Yoga at 8:30 a.m. in the Orquidea Ballroom, designed for all ages and experience levels. Later, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., the poolside Try Scuba activity returns.
In the afternoon, The Drop Off hosts Tropicheladas Thursdays from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., featuring micheladas, skewers, and live beats by Kilombeats, creating the perfect island unwind.
Friday, October 3 – Entertainment and Fine Dining
Friday is packed with activities for all tastes. Families can enjoy Movie Night in the Game Room from 6:00 to 8:45 p.m., complete with films and popcorn.
At Alera Restaurant, a BBQ Dinner presented by Banco Atlántida will take place from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., showcasing the chef’s award-winning dishes from the Roatán BBQ Tournament. The four-hour experience is priced at $95 plus tax per person, including food and beverage pairings, with a 10% discount for Banco Atlántida cardholders. Reservations are recommended.
Meanwhile, Vos comes alive with Havana Nights from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.. The event features live music by Majo Rumba, Cuban-inspired cocktails like mojitos and daiquiris, and a lively dance floor. Open to the public, no reservations are required.
Saturday, October 4 – A Full-Day Celebration
Saturday’s program begins with a Hatha Yoga class at 8:30 a.m. in the Orquidea Ballroom, followed by another Try Scuba session from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
From 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., The Drop Off hosts a Caribbean BBQ, where a local chef prepares traditional roasted pork paired with seaside views and cold drinks.
In the afternoon, guests can enjoy Hair Braiding and Friendship Bracelet Making on the Grand Deck from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., a complimentary activity for resort guests. At the same time, the Poolside Bubbles Bar runs from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., offering premium sparkling wines by Bottega.
As the day winds down, Sunset Sessions at The Drop Off will run from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., featuring live DJ sets, cocktails, and a 2-for-1 happy hour with breathtaking Caribbean views.
The evening closes with Jazz Nights at Alera from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., blending live jazz music with coastal dining elegance.
Sunday, October 5 – Pizza & Pitchers
The holiday week wraps up on Sunday with a Pizza & Pitchers Night at Seacat from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Families and friends can enjoy 10% off all pizzas, alongside sangria pitcher and beer bucket specials. Open to the public, no reservations are required.
