CoCo View Resort in Roatan has earned the No. 3 spot on a new ranking of the “7 Best All-Inclusive Resorts in the Caribbean for Snorkeling,” thanks to its prime location along the Mesoamerican Reef System, the world’s second-largest barrier reef.
Guests at CoCo View can snorkel directly from the beach or head out on dive boats to nearby sites, including the Prince Albert shipwreck, a 140-foot tanker intentionally sunk in 1985. While the wreck is a favorite among divers, snorkelers are often able to view it from the surface when visibility allows.

The resort’s waters are home to an estimated 425 species of fish, making it a standout destination for marine life enthusiasts. To add to the experience, CoCo View hosts underwater photography workshops and presentations and even offers a dedicated photo editing room on the dock for guests looking to capture and refine their underwater shots.
Accommodations range from oceanview rooms to overwater bungalows, with amenities such as a pool, kayaks, a swimmable beach, and nightly entertainment. The all-inclusive package also features three daily buffet meals: breakfasts with made-to-order omelets, lunches with traditional Honduran dishes like red beans and rice, and dinners with rotating entrées, salad bar, and dessert.
Rates start at $1,564 per person for a 7-night stay based on double occupancy. Guests who do not dive receive a $100 discount, while reservations are limited to weeklong or two-week stays, with Saturday-only arrivals and departures. Children must be 10 years or older to stay.
With its combination of world-class snorkeling, cultural dining, and unique lodging, CoCo View Resort continues to strengthen Roatan’s reputation as a premier Caribbean destination for ocean lovers.
