The National Archive highlights research at IV Honduran History Congress

TEGUCIGALPA — During the IV Honduran History Congress, researchers from the Honduran National Archive presented a series of studies showcasing significant advances in Honduran historiography.
Presenters included Gracia Canales, Juan Carlos Griffin, Francisco Amaya, and Erick Guevara, who covered topics ranging from economic relations between Honduras and Great Britain to diplomatic relations with Japan, the Buque Noc Daqui incident, and 19th-century exploratory voyages. Other studies focused on historical memory and resistance, the national heroes’ legacy, and the Bicentennial commemoration of the 1825 Constitution.
These contributions highlight the National Archive's ongoing commitment to preserving, researching, and sharing Honduras’s history, providing valuable insights for scholars and the general public alike.
